Born in 1945 in Lot-et-Garonne, Jean Nouvel founded his agency in 1970. Winner of the prestigious Pritzker Prize in 2008, he has established himself as a major figure in contemporary architecture.
Among his many achievements, the Arab World Institute (IMA) in Paris, inaugurated in 1987, clearly illustrates his mastery of light, with its façades inspired by the moucharabieh. He is also the architect of the Agbar Tower in Barcelona (2005), the Quai Branly Museum (2006) and the Philharmonie de Paris (2015).
With Ateliers Jean Nouvel, he also designed the future Sharaan Desert Resort, an ambitious project featuring an international convention center and two exclusive villas.
